Katrina & the Waves are and Anglo-American Rock band who formed in 1989. Katrina Leskanich was the lead singer, Kimberley Rew was the guitarist, Alex Cooper played drums and Vince de la Cruz on lead guitar.

They are best known for their hit Walking on Sunshine and also winning the Eurovision Song Contest for the UK in 1997 with Love Shine A Light.

The song I have chosen is better known as a cover by the Bangles Going Down to Liverpool.
